Bridging the Gap
For an artist whose work lives in the space between mythology and memory, a standard digital portfolio felt too static—it lacked the atmospheric depth required to hold her stories. The goal was to bridge the gap between a vast, abstract collection of paintings and a functional, grounded digital sanctuary.
I developed a "Digital Treasury"—a custom-built environment where the navigation feels like a journey through an archive. To mirror the artist's own hand, I created a suite of bespoke, hand-drawn animations and textured GIF elements. By prioritizing this analog touch alongside intentional whitespace, I ensured that the digital interface felt as authentic and soulful as the canvases themselves.
